As Claris launch the latest version of their hugely successful platform, FileMaker, the first major change you notice is the new logo and the change to using the release year as the release version, hence FileMaker 2023.
Upgrading to Claris Filemaker 2023 can offer users and developers immediate value improvement at a pace unmatched previously. Previous releases opened FileMaker to other technologies such as JavaScript and JSON allowing you to solve more and more business problems. Now FileMaker 2023 boosts the performance of your custom apps, increases scalability with greater capacity for users and files, whilst protecting your data using updated security protocols

- Optimize your Linux deployment with support for Ubuntu 22 LTS on Intel and ARM processors. provides more customisation options and greater cost efficiency.

- Protect your data with updated security protocols including support for Open SSL 3.0, Send Mail with OAuth 2.0 authentication
- Audit logging through a new script trigger.

In addition FileMaker 2023 makes it easier to trigger workflows in Claris Connect, and when used in conjunction with the free tier of Claris Connect which is now available, you can integrate easily with other applications like Slack, Outlook and Trello to name a few.
